Abstract: A system described herein may provide for the use of artificial intelligence/machine learning (”AI/MIL”) techniques to generate models for various locations or regions (e.g., sectors) associated with one or more radio access networks (”RANs”) of a wireless network. The system may further use AI/ML techniques to generate interference models to reflect types and/or amounts of radio frequency (”RF”) interference measured within the RAN. The system may further determine, based on received RF metrics for a given sector, a particular interference model associated with the sector. Based on a sector model associated with the sector and the determined interference model, one or more actions may be determined in order to remediate any potential interference associated with the sector or surrounding sectors.

Application No., Date, Speed: 16399237 on 04/30/2019 (1176 days app to issue)

Abstract: Systems and methods for allocating edge computing resources may receive a predicted user route defining multiple wireless access points available along the route at respective time points and an assured delay constraint, determine, for each wireless access point, datacenters in the network meeting the assured delay constraint when accessed through the wireless access point, and construct an auxiliary graph dependent on the predicted user route and the determined datacenters. Each determined datacenter is represented by at least one node in the graph and each path in the graph defines a sequence of datacenters and a corresponding sequence of wireless access points through which they are accessible. A lowest cost path in the graph is determined and the sequences of datacenters and wireless access points defined by the lowest cost path are provided to a resource orchestrator that allocates edge computing resources for a mobile user traversing the predicted user route.

Wedge clamp for circuit board
Patent No. 11395429

Inventor(s): James Christopher Caylor (Flower Mound, TX)
Assignee(s): SIMON INDUSTRIES, INC. (Raleigh, NC)
Law Firm: Crowell Moring LLP (3 non-local offices)
Application No., Date, Speed: 16736240 on 01/07/2020 (924 days app to issue)

Abstract: A releasable clamping device is provided. The device includes a plurality of wedge members that slidably are disposed upon a carrier, with an input disposed in conjunction with a first wedge member. The input interacts with a projection and when the input is moved the first wedge members slides along the carrier. Motion of the first wedge member causes vertical motion of the second and fourth wedge members, which in combination cause the thickness of the releasable clamping device to increase, which frictionally retains the carrier and associated components thereon (such as a PCB) within a housing. The input may be moved in an opposite direction which causes the first wedge member to slide along the carrier in an opposite direction and causes the second and fourth wedge members to vertically move toward the carrier thereby narrowing the overall thickness of the device to allow removal of the carrier.
