Solv, a Dallas area health care company, is expanding its geographic reach by partnering with NextCare, one of the nation’s largest urgent care providers.

On Friday, Solv announced its collaboration with NextCare, which has more than 135 care centers nationwide with seven days a week service, according to Business Insider.
“NextCare recognizes that excellence in the consumer experience includes transparency of cost, eliminating wait times, frictionless check-in and paired with excellence in medical care is critically important for their patients and for their business,” Heather Fernandez, co-founder and CEO of Solv, said in a statement to Dallas Innovates. “We are excited to partner with them to empower consumers in their health care.”

The health care app connects patients that need emergency care to health care providers that same day. The app also can scan your insurance card and provide an estimate of how much you will pay for your visit.
“In health care, as we know, we kind of lag a little bit, but I think with this kind of system and app, it’s really in the palm of your hand,” Dr. Khoshnood Ahmad at Pediatric Urgent Care of North Texas in Frisco told NBC5 in May.
The app released in April after the initial six-month beta testing period and has major major strides in development and marketing.
