Dallas-Headquartered Ryan Acquires PTX Tech To Strengthen Its Property Tax Software Solutions

Ryan has acquired PTX Tech to develop and deploy integrated software and data solutions for its clients. Both companies seek to improve the customer experience and provide their clients with valuable tech.

Ryan, a global tax services and software provider, has acquired Atlanta, Georgia-based PTX Tech, a specialist in property tax data and software.

Ryan, which says it is the largest firm in the world dedicated exclusively to business taxes, has an integrated suite of federal, state, local, and international tax services. By acquiring PTX, Ryan plans to use the company’s cutting edge technology to enhance its existing work flow, leverage quick solutions, and strengthen client relationships.

“The acquisition of PTX supports Ryan’s efforts to develop and deploy integrated software and data solutions for our clients,” G. Brint Ryan, Chairman and CEO of Ryan, said in a statement. “Incorporating PTX’s data into Ryan’s existing workflow process provides us with a distinct advantage in the market by offering our clients a streamlined solution to manage and minimize their property tax liability.”

PTX has developed a suite of products providing its clients with critical property tax data. The Georgia company focuses on extracting, standardizing, and incorporating tax bill data into a proprietary database to make it readily accessible by clients, according to a statement.

“PTX’s cutting-edge solutions serve as a valuable asset to clients in managing and mitigating their property tax bills,” Stephen Wicks, CEO of PTX, said in a statement. “Ryan and PTX share the same vision of elevating the client experience and offering valuable, time-saving technology to clients in the property tax space. Additionally, Ryan’s award-winning culture is a perfect fit for PTX, and we are excited to join the Ryan team.”
