Ryan, a global tax services and software provider, has acquired Atlanta, Georgia-based PTX Tech, a specialist in property tax data and software.
Ryan, which says it is the largest firm in the world dedicated exclusively to business taxes, has an integrated suite of federal, state, local, and international tax services. By acquiring PTX, Ryan plans to use the company’s cutting edge technology to enhance its existing work flow, leverage quick solutions, and strengthen client relationships.
“The acquisition of PTX supports Ryan’s efforts to develop and deploy integrated software and data solutions for our clients,” G. Brint Ryan, Chairman and CEO of Ryan, said in a statement. “Incorporating PTX’s data into Ryan’s existing workflow process provides us with a distinct advantage in the market by offering our clients a streamlined solution to manage and minimize their property tax liability.”
PTX has developed a suite of products providing its clients with critical property tax data. The Georgia company focuses on extracting, standardizing, and incorporating tax bill data into a proprietary database to make it readily accessible by clients, according to a statement.
