Dallas Companies Make ‘Most Interesting’ Travel Startups List

Two Dallas-based travel startups were recognized by Skift for their potential to change the world of corporate travel.

With the constant advancement of technology and the growing efficiency of our world, the nature of corporate travel is changing, and new startup companies are emerging to meet the needs of that transformation. 

Skift, an online news site that covers the latest about the travel industry, released a list of the “Most Interesting Corporate Travel Startups of 2017,” and two Dallas-based companies were recognized. 

Traxo and Tripbam are two of 11 companies mentioned for their potential to solve the problems that exist within the world of corporate travel. 

Traxo, founded by Andres Fabris in 2016, captures all details of a travelers’ itinerary and their loyalty points using its data solutions and application features. It uses an API and email parsing to ensure that all client travel information is accounted for. So far, the startup has raised $10.94 million in three funding rounds. 

Tripbam, another Dallas-based platform founded in 2012 by Steve Reynolds, focuses on hotel tracking and intelligence. It is able to drive down the price for business travel by constantly monitoring the changes in hotel rates. 

Both startups offer a unique approach to updating the world of corporate travel to meet the changes in technology and traveler behavior.
