WES Brands, a Dallas-based independent spirits incubator of innovative alcohol beverage brands, has appointed Adam Rosen as its new chief executive officer. Rosen joins the company after serving as executive vice president at Casamigos Spirits Company, the tequila brand co-founded by George Clooney.
Founded in 2021, the employee-owned WES Brands portfolio includes several celebrity-backed spirits brands: BSB Whiskey, associated with Jamie Foxx; Flecha Azul Tequila, partnered with Mark Wahlberg; and Fraser & Thompson Whiskey, co-founded by Michael Bublé. The company has expanded from one to four brands since 2022, with Aspen Vodka rounding out its portfolio.
“I’m very excited to join the team at WES Brands,” Rosen said in a statement. “The brands in our portfolio are really special, each with tremendous opportunity. It’s also extremely exhilarating to work with our high-profile investors who are so engaged and committed to building the business for the long term.”
<p”>WES said Rosen brings extensive experience in the spirits industry, including roles at Pernod Ricard USA and Diageo North America. At Diageo, he earned the title of “Most Inspiring Leader” in 2011, the company said.
WES Brands describes itself as an entrepreneurial company that pairs high-potential brands with strategic partners to drive awareness.
“We are thrilled to welcome Adam as our new CEO at WES Brands,” the company’s founding partners said in a statement. “With his leadership, we are confident that WES Brands will continue to set new standards in the spirits industry and drive the success of our expanding portfolio.”
