Debt collection can be quite a chore, but Dallas-based CollBox aims to ease the process by giving business owners quick access to collections agencies at their fingertips.
The app has landed CollBox a spot as one of 10 developers from around the world competing in Intuit Developer’s Small Business App Showdown as part of the 3-day QuickBooks Connect 2016 in San Jose, California.
The contest invited developers to submit QuickBooks apps addressing small business needs. The apps were judged based on factors such as market impact, quality of integration, its ratings on apps.com, and online votes.
On Oct. 24, the 10 finalists will pitch their apps for a chance to win $100,000.
CollBox has already garnered recognition from Intuit when it won the QBConnect Hackathon Grand Prize in 2015.
