Some 10 to 12 million Americans have peripheral artery disease, which causes blood clots and other blockages in the arteries of arms and legs. Vesalio—which relocated from Nashville to Plano in May while hiring a new Dallas-based CFO—said its pVasc Thrombectomy System can target the full range of embolisms, "enabling a fast and safe removal."
