Cariloop Welcomes Technology Leader as Chief Product Officer

Scally has a "bold, creative vision and a fierce passion for building products that have the potential to help families on a global scale,” CEO Michael Walsh said.

Keith Scally has joined Richardson-based Cariloop, a comprehensive caregiver support platform that combines cloud-based tools and personalized, professional coaching services, as chief product officer.

The company said that Scally will oversee its tech-enabled, human-powered innovation initiatives as they continue to create game-changing solutions that reduce the stress and burden felt by working caregivers and families.

“Keith is a phenomenal product leader and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. He has such a bold, creative vision and a fierce passion for building products that have the potential to help families on a global scale,” CEO Michael Walsh said in a statement. “With Keith at the helm, we are incredibly excited to create and deploy the next generation of solutions that will enable us to positively impact caregivers and families all over the world.“

In this new role, Cariloop said that Scally will lead the product management, product design, and engineering teams as they focus on digital innovation, along with ensuring that the technology is adequately serving all of Cariloop’s stakeholders.

Scally comes to Cariloops after serving in senior leadership roles at Sun Life, Maxwell Health and Choicelinx, a Cigna subsidiary, where he led engineering, product management, and user experience initiatives as well as set the product vision and strategy for his teams.

“Cariloop’s mission and vision have stuck out to me ever since I learned about the company. The passion every team member has in doing their part to ensure no one goes through caregiving alone is inspiring,” Scally said in a statement. “I am eager to jump in and work with an incredibly talented product team as we drive innovation that will extend the reach and impact we have on our members and customers.”

Cariloop said it helps families plan for and manage their caregiving journeys with its employer-sponsored Caregiver Support benefit, which pairs caregivers with an experienced Care Coach to guide families through care decisions, provide emotional support, and take the burden of researching resources off their plate.

Cariloop’s secure Care Portal is a centralized place where members can communicate with the Care Coach and collaborate with family members involved in the care team.
