6 to 11 p.m.
Digital Fight Club: Cyber returns to close out 2025 with a national event to take place where it all started at The Granada Theater in Dallas.

We’re not pulling any punches. This is the best cyber networking event you will ever go to. The most fun cyber event you will ever attend. The most educational party you’ve ever seen…all in one amazing evening.
This year DFC is teaming up with the hit show The Professional CISO hosted by former DFC Fighter David Malicoat. IoT Texas Happy Hour: Using AI to Ingest Content from Documents, Images, Video, and Audio Sources
Hosted by IoT Texas
SpringHill Suites Dallas/Richardson, Plano; 3251 E. President George Bush Hwy.
6 to 7:30 p.m.
Most IoT data isn’t tidy time-series. It’s messy images from edge cameras, PDFs from field service, audio from support calls, and long videos from inspections. In this session, we’ll turn that unstructured content into structured events your IoT apps can actually use. We’ll walk the Analyzer flow in Azure AI Content Understanding, then run demos: extract fields from maintenance forms and invoices, summarize phone/radio calls, and segment inspection videos into searchable scenes tied to assets.
You’ll leave with an edge-to-cloud reference pipeline you can wire into alerts, search, analytics, and automation.
Ron Dagdag, the featured presenter, is an accomplished R&D Engineering Manager at 7-Eleven, Inc., a Microsoft MVP, and a hands-on technologist with 25 years of experience delivering scalable, innovative solutions across retail, manufacturing, and technology services.
Ron’s career blends engineering automation, edge AI platforms, cloud-native development, and hands-on experimentation with emerging technologies — from AI, IoT to Mixed Reality. Whether leading cross-functional teams, defining reference architectures across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, or mentoring developers, his focus is always on practical innovation that drives real business impact.
