Lynn McBee is Chief Executive Officer of Young Women’s Preparatory Network. A seventh-generation Texan and Great, Great, Great, Great-Granddaughter of Emily Austin, sister to Stephen F. Austin, The Father of Texas, she graduated from The University of Texas at Austin where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry.
Young Women’s Preparatory Network’s mission is to support single-gender, college-preparatory, public education in Texas and beyond, giving young women the academic and leadership skills to achieve success in college and in life. YWPN partners with public school districts to create and support all-girls schools with a focus on leadership, college readiness and health and wellness.
