Dallas-based small business consulting firm Integrality and partners Dallas College Foundation and UPS Foundation are seeking North Texas retail, e-commerce, and franchise businesses for their “Start.Pivot.Grow.” small business accelerator.

Now welcoming its ninth cohort, SPG is a 10-week accelerator beginning August 12. The deadline to apply is July 26.

The free accelerator offers professional training, workshops, business advising, mentorship, and more and will culminate with a small business pitch competition. Pitch participants can win cash to further advance and grow their business.

“Integrality is proud of its ability to expand its reach to serve unique businesses across the retail, e-commerce, and franchise marketplaces,” Cynthia Nevels, CEO of Integrality and founder of the Start.Pivot.Grow. Accelerator, said in a release.

Nevels says that the accelerator’s partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions “help deliver life-changing services” to entrepreneurs seeking to grow their businesses from six to seven figures and reach their “maximum potential.”

According to SPG, the accelerator has served 112 businesses over the first 8 cohorts, awarding more than $84K in grants and helping participants secure $550K in capital.

Encouraging economic empowerment

Accelerator participants will gain access to a spectrum of services provided by SPG and its partners: education, business advising, mentorship through UPS connections, essential business tools, networking, and grant capital.

“At UPS, our dedication extends beyond delivering packages; we are committed to delivering what matters — the success and growth of the people, customers, and communities we serve worldwide,” said Dora Zapata, Community Relations Manager for UPS Foundation.

She added that UPS recognizes the pivotal role small businesses play in driving innovation and creating opportunities.

“In our ongoing efforts to promote equity and economic empowerment, we are excited to partner with Dallas College for the launch of the Start.Pivot.Grow. Small Business Accelerator,” Zapata said. “This partnership embodies our mutual commitment to fostering the next generation of small business entrepreneurs.”

Since it began, Start.Pivot.Grow. has prioritized the needs of emerging entrepreneurs, SPG said, aiming to strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem and empower equitable and economic growth for retail, e-commerce, and franchise small business owners.

Integrality, the business management and consulting firm that created the SPG accelerator, was founded in 2002 and has offices in Dallas and Long Beach, Calif.
