Antuit.ai Launches Strategic Advisory Board of Consumer Products, Retail, and Technology Veterans

The Frisco-based SaaS AI solutions provider helps retailers and consumer products companies improve supply chain, merchandising, pricing, and marketing. Its team now has executives from Accenture, Proctor & Gamble, Miller Coors, and more.

Frisco-based Antuit.ai, a provider of SaaS artificial intelligence solutions for forecasting and merchandising, has formed a Strategic Advisory Board made up of some of the most experienced executives in the consumer products, retail, and technology industries.

Antuit.ai is a Goldman Sachs company that uses AI and machine learning software to help retailers and consumer products companies digitally transform their businesses. The intent is to achieve outsized business results, according to the company, in supply chain, merchandising, pricing, and marketing.

The company was founded in 2013 with an original focus on advanced analytical forecasting and supply chain solutions, but in 2015, its offerings expanded with the acquisition of AI company Prognos. That allowed Antuit.ai to move into the pricing and marketing areas—and start focusing almost entirely on consumer products and retail.

This January, Antuit.ai acquired Forecast Horizon, which assists retailers in automating the planning process, to have a more complete portfolio of retail solutions. Now, Antuit.ai is able to provide assortment, allocation, and fulfillment solutions to companies, including some Fortune 1000s.

Today, some big names are deploying the Software-as-a-Service technology: Pepsico, Neiman Marcus, JCPenney, and Philips.

“AI helps companies address the cost and complexity of fulfilling orders while maintaining margin and customer service levels, which is critical to any successful ecommerce operation,” Yogesh Kulkarni, COO of AI Merchandising and Marketing at Antuit.ai, previously said in a statement. “Without AI, retailers spend too much time and resources addressing operational issues manually and not enough on delighting the customer.”

With the new Strategic Advisory Board, Antuit.ai aims to bring outside voices to the table. CEO Craig Silverman said the “group of innovative and thought leading industry executives” will help shape the company’s strategy as it continues to “unlock value for customers across supply chain, revenue growth management, lifecycle pricing, omnichannel merchandising, and personalization.”

Silverman and his team hope to continue blazing a path as an “AI disruptive technology leader,” he said.

The founding members of the Strategic Advisory Board are:

• Bill Read, the former senior managing director of Accenture NA Supply Chain Senior and vice president of Capgemini;
• Randall Beard, the former Proctor & Gamble managing director and Nielsen global president;
• Bill Marrin, executive director of Supply Chain 50, which is part of World 50, a private community for senior-most executives;
• Fernando Palacios, the former chief integrated supply chain officer at Miller Coors and EVP of Land O’ Lakes; and
• J. Matt Salmonson, the former GAP SVP of Inventory Management at Williams-Sonoma.

“Antuit.ai is not just talking AI, but has productionized an AI platform and solutions to deliver real results at scale for global companies. Not many SaaS companies can make that claim and back it up,” Read said in a statement. “Along with the rest of the board members, I look forward to assisting the company to support their growth and the positive impact to their clients’ P&L.”
