Airspan Networks Relocates From Florida to North Texas, Opens New HQ in Plano

The global provider of wireless network solutions said its new Plano headquarters will employ up to 150 people in R&D, engineering, customer support, sales, and corporate functions. Airspan has 11 offices worldwide, including four in the U.S.

Airspan Networks Holdings—a leading global provider of wireless network solutions that was founded in 1992—has relocated its headquarters from Boca Raton, Florida, and opened a new corporate HQ in Plano. The new 25,000-square-foot Plano facility represents “a strategic investment” and marks “an important step in the company’s long-term growth strategy,” Airspan said.

The new headquarters will employ up to 150 people in R&D, engineering, customer support, sales, and corporate functions, Airspan said, and will serve as a center for global collaboration and solution development.

The facility includes state-of-the-art development and test labs, as well as a customer experience center to showcase Airspan’s advanced technologies for delivering carrier-grade 5G and advanced wireless connectivity. With 11 offices worldwide, including four in the U.S., the company said it is well positioned to provide innovative wireless networks to carriers, enterprises, and critical infrastructure providers.

“Our new Plano headquarters expands our US based product development and represents a significant evolution for Airspan,” CEO Glenn Laxdal said in a statement. “We’ve aligned the company around three solution pillars—in-building wireless networks, Open RAN solutions, and air-to-ground connectivity—and we welcome customers from around the world to visit our new facility and see first-hand Airspan’s leadership and innovation.”

Airspan said it’s set to enter 2026 with a roadmap to grow its global footprint, deepen its solution portfolio, and expand ecosystem partnerships. The company will showcase its latest innovations at MWC Barcelona from March 2-5, 2026, reinforcing its role as a global leader in advanced wireless technologies and a key enabler of next-generation connectivity.
