Just in time for the National Basketball Association’s season opener, Dallas Love Field airport’s new Parking Garage C has gone blue for the Dallas Mavericks.
The themed floor filled with 5,000 parking spaces has been covered with graffiti art from local artist Tex Moton. From the elevators to the terminals to the baggage area, a visual Mavericks fan experience has been created through paintings, murals, and messages in the parking garage.
Moton has previously worked with the Mavericks to design products, promotional items, and uniforms. Through this project, Moton has combined his own art style with the branding the Mavericks are known for.
“My style is working with colors, boldness and flow, and it’s always had a positive response in the community,” Moton said in a statement. “We want to uplift travelers’ spirits from the garages and throughout the airport.”
Phrases such as “Safe Travels,” “Rowdy, Proud and Loud,” and “We’re all in this together” line the garage’s interior as part of the experience.
“The Dallas Mavericks floor is truly a fan experience with images of players and Tex’s current paintings and artistic renderings,” Chris Perry, external communications and marketing manager for Dallas Love Field, said in a statement.
