Party planning digital platform, PartySlate, is planting roots in Dallas.
The move marks the startup’s third launch after Chicago and Los Angeles.
“Dallas was a natural choice for our third market rollout,” PartySlate co-founder Julie Roth Novack said in a release.
PartySlate, a digital platform designed for party planners and hosts, displays real events and event ideas posted by top professionals — event planners, decor companies, caterers, venues, photographers, and more. With Dallas having hundreds of party and event planners, PartySlate said it’s a prime market.
“There is a really strong event professional community in Dallas and we are excited to feature beautiful Dallas events on PartySlate,” the startup’s co-founder John Haro said in a release.

The Chicago startup recently concluded a $1.9 million seed round bringing its total funding to $3 million.
PartySlate also announced a partnership with Mindy Weiss, who it described as “one of the most influential celebrity event planners in the country.”
“I’m excited to have a beautiful place to share all of my wedding and corporate event photos,” Weiss said in a release. “This platform is becoming the go-to site to view photos from leading event professionals around the world.”
