Final weekend: The Dallas Museum of Art will be holding extended public hours for the “México 1900-1950: Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, José Clemente Orozco, and the Avant-Garde” exhibition. From Friday, July 14, through Sunday, July 16, the exhibit, The Museum Store, the DMA Cafe, and Socca, will remain open until 9 p.m.The exhibition of Mexican modern art will not be on view anywhere else in the U.S. after this weekend.The exhibition closes July 16.

The first day of the Latino Franchise Symposium will be held at the 7-Eleven headquarters in Irving. This day is dedicated to those who want to enter the franchise business for the first time and have little experience in Hispanic markets. Larry Hughes,vice president of franchise systems for 7-Eleven — the third-largest franchising company in America with more than 8,000 stores — will host this portion of the event.
