Plano-based Diversified is continuing its build-out.
The audiovisual, broadcast and digital experience integrator opened a global headquarters at Granite Park in October 2024. Since then, it has expanded its capabilities, most recently adding more services for sports organizations running live productions.
It also has hired five top executives in less than a year, starting with CEO Paul Lidsky in October 2025 and most recently Global Chief Technology Officer Pete Emminger this month. Teresa Stanula joined as chief people officer in January 2026. Tyler Affolter joined as chief revenue officer in April, and Viral Tripathi came on as chief information officer in May.
“Each of these hires was made deliberately as part of how we’re positioning Diversified for its next phase of growth,” Emminger said in an interview with Dallas Innovates shortly after starting the newly created position. The team covers the full arc of how Diversified operates and where technology and the market are heading, he said. “That’s a leadership bench built specifically for now — a time when media, workplace technology, collaboration and digital experience are converging into a single set of client requirements rather than staying in separate lanes.”
Convergence is the business case

In his new role, Emminger will lead Diversified’s global go-to-market technology strategy, connecting emerging technology to client needs. He also will shape the company’s technical direction, strategic partnerships and future solutions, the company said in its announcement. He frames the job around a single trend: the collapse of the walls between the environments Diversified serves.
“People expect their worlds to be fully integrated and immersive,” he said. “As a result, we’re seeing engineering requirements traditionally seen in mission-critical environments such as broadcast move over to corporate enterprise, retail, entertainment venues and live events.”
That is also the pitch Diversified has been making to the market. In April, the company said it was expanding its sports and media capabilities as live sports consumption fragments across linear television, OTT platforms and direct-to-consumer models. Among the client engagements it cited was work with Mobile TV Group on a new Colorado media operations center.
“We’re seeing broadcast infrastructure, corporate campuses, retail and sports venues merge together and coexist with increasingly similar technology requirements,” Emminger said.
His own resume tracks that crossover. Emminger most recently served as global CTO at Pittsburgh-based NEP Group. Earlier, he held senior leadership roles at Activision Blizzard, where he helped launch the Call of Duty League and establish an esports production studio. He also contributed to the 2022 FIFA World Cup’s transition to IP-based broadcast technology, according to the company.
The North Texas advantage
Diversified moved its global headquarters from New Jersey to Plano in October 2024. At the time, the company cited the region’s proximity to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and its technology talent pool as motivators.
While Diversified has a decentralized leadership team and Emminger isn’t based in North Texas, he said he anticipates investing additional resources in the market to support growth.
“North Texas has become one of the most dynamic corporate and technology hubs in the country,” he said. “The region continues to attract major headquarters and technology investment, while also developing a deep pool of technology and AI talent.”
Having a strong North Texas presence puts the company close to the talent, the telecom and fiber infrastructure and the enterprise and media clients driving change, he said.
“That proximity gives us a real advantage on the large-scale, technically complex work we do,” he said. “And it’s not a coincidence that many of the trends shaping what we’re building for clients around the world are also playing out right here in North Texas.”
