Aviation Aftermarket Co. AvAir Opens New Facility Near DFW Airport

AvAir said its team would take advantage of North Texas' central U.S. location to support distribution and faster nationwide delivery—which it called "critically important" when airlines need parts quickly to avoid aircraft-on-ground situations.

AvAir, an aviation aftermarket products provider based in Chandler, Arizona, is opening a new 45,000-square-foot warehouse facility in Grapevine next to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

AvAir said it offers customized solutions for customers and suppliers to buy, sell, exchange, loan, lease, or consign more than 26 million in-stock aircraft parts.

The company noted that North Texas ranks among North America’s largest logistics hubs, with DFW recognized as one of the busiest cargo airports. AvAir said its team will take advantage of the central U.S. location to support distribution and faster nationwide delivery—which it called “critically important” when airlines need parts quickly to avoid aircraft-on-ground situations.

With 3,100 clients globally, AvAir will utilize the Dallas facility to support both U.S. and international clients, the company said

AvAir COO Tyler Botth said his customers rely on his company to deliver “the right inventory solutions quickly and efficiently.”

“Our new Dallas location complements our facilities in Chandler and Dublin,” he added in a statement, “creating a strategically located hub that enhances inventory availability and streamlines distribution to customers worldwide.”

Facility will also house sales and support staff; GM named

In addition to AvAir’s warehouse team, the facility will house sales and support staff, comprised of both experienced team members and new hires. Brian Longmeyer, the company’s vice president of sales and powerplants, will relocate to Dallas and assume the additional role of general manager, overseeing all Dallas‑based operations and leading the sales team. Longmeyer joined AvAir in 2021 and brings more than 30 years of industry experience.

Alongside this expansion, AvAir has promoted Kevin Lenz to executive vice president of powerplants, based in Chandler, Arizona. Lenz, who has been with AvAir since 2010, will continue to lead and strengthen the company’s powerplant capabilities while supporting its ongoing global growth.

AvAir celebrated its 25th anniversary last year and said it continues to see rapid growth in both new customers and partnerships.
