Irving-based Quisitive, a Microsoft Cloud and AI solutions provider, has named Michael Roughsedge as its new CEO, effective immediately. Roughsedge succeeds Mike Reinhart, who founded the company. Reinhart will retire as CEO and transition to the role of chairman of the board, continuing to provide advice and counsel as the company enters its next phase of growth.
“The technology industry and Microsoft ecosystem is being rewritten by AI, and the partners who will lead the next decade aren’t the ones bolting AI onto existing playbooks — they’re the ones rebuilding around it,” Roughsedge said in a statement. “Quisitive has the specialization, the relationships, and the team to be one of those partners, and I’m privileged to take this forward with Mike and the team that built it to this point.”
Roughsedge has more than 20 years of experience leading and growing enterprise technology services organizations. Most recently, he served as global chief sales officer at Avanade, where he led sales strategy and execution across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at Microsoft, Adobe, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Throughout his career, he has built a strong track record leading large, global technology teams while advancing enterprise go-to-market strategy and operational execution, Quisitive said.
“Michael’s leadership, industry expertise and vision make him the ideal choice to guide Quisitive into its next phase of growth,” said Reinhart. “It’s been a privilege to lead Quisitive since its inception, and I’m confident that Michael will continue to build on our strong foundation while positioning us for long-term success.”
Founded by Reinhart in 2016, Quisitive is a premier cloud services provider in the Microsoft ecosystem, providing digital transformation services, managed services, and AI solutions to mid-size and enterprise clients. The company said it helps enterprises in various industries “leverage the Microsoft platform to adopt, innovate, and thrive in the era of AI.”
Last year, Quisitive was acquired by an affiliate of H.I.G. Capital. Reinhart said at the time that his company was excited to “partner with them as we continue our strategic growth and investment agenda to benefit our customers.”
Microsoft Frontier Partner status achieved
Today, Quisitive announced it has earned the status of Microsoft Frontier Partner, a distinction reserved for an exclusive list of partners with deep expertise in leading AI transformation across the Microsoft Cloud. The company said this milestone follows its achievement of the Microsoft Copilot Specialization, its 19th specialization, which validates Quisitive’s ability to implement and scale Microsoft 365 Copilot, customize solutions with Copilot Studio, and develop AI agents.
