Longtime executive Mitchell Clark has been promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer of Dallas-based City Credit Union, effective immediately.
Clark will oversee the organization’s daily operations and play a critical leadership role in driving strategic initiatives, member experience, and operational excellence.
“Mitchell’s deep understanding of our operations and his unwavering commitment to our members make him the ideal leader to step into the role of COO,” President and CEO Sharon Scearce said in a statement. “He brings a thoughtful, collaborative approach to leadership and has a clear vision for enhancing our member experience and operational efficiency.”
Clark joined City Credit Union in 2011 and has held several key positions, most recently serving as chief administrative officer. City CU said that with a strong track record of innovation, team leadership, and results-driven execution, Clark has been instrumental in elevating its service delivery and business performance.
As EVP/COO, Clark will lead a number of core functions, including lending, technology, marketing, and human resources, the credit union said. He also will work closely with the executive team to implement long-term strategic goals and support City CU’s mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of its members.
“I’m honored to take on this new role and continue serving our members and community with excellence,” Clark said in a statement. “City Credit Union has a proud legacy, and I’m excited to help lead our organization into the future.”
Founded in 1942 as the City of Dallas Employees Credit Union, City CU said its field of membership now includes 13 counties in north Texas. It provides these communities with financial products and services, insurance, and free financial education.
City CU serves 35,000 members and has five branches.
