Dallas’ Henson Group Merges With Florida’s myCloudDoor to Form Global Microsoft Partner ALIANDO

The Henson Group began as a startup in a New York apartment in the wake of 9/11, and has since grown to a Dallas-based team of over 200 with offices in four countries. Now it's merged with Fort Lauderdale's myCloudDoor to form ALIANDO—aiming to "drive innovation as a force multiplier in the industry."

A Dallas-based company that launched from its founder’s New York apartment after 9/11 is merging with a leading Florida Microsoft partner to expand their Microsoft solution capabilities globally.

Dallas’ Henson Group and Fort Lauderdale-based myCloudDoor have merged to form ALIANDO, aiming to strengthen their service portfolio across the Microsoft tech stack while doubling professional and managed services capabilities around the world.

The combined company describes itself as the number-one Azure Cloud Solution Provider and a top 1% Microsoft partner globally, and says it is “well-positioned to drive innovation as a force multiplier in the industry.”

“This merger represents a significant step forward in our mission to empower each of our clients to achieve more,” Henson Group CEO David Fuess said in a statement. “By combining our strengths with myCloudDoor, we’re better positioned to deliver on our promise to meet the needs of our clients globally. We’re excited to introduce our new name, ALIANDO, which reflects our unified vision and commitment to excellence.”

ALIANDO said it will deliver differentiated solutions across the Microsoft stack, including Azure, Modern Work, Data & AI, Business Applications, and Cybersecurity, with specialized expertise in SAP on Azure, Azure VMware Solutions (AVS), Copilot, and Azure AI Services (Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric + AI).

Strategic benefits ‘are immense’

“The strategic benefits of this merger are immense,” said myCloudDoor CEO Marcos De Pedro. “The combined expertise in Azure, Data & AI, and Cybersecurity coupled with our enhanced capabilities will enable us to provide unparalleled value to our clients.”

The two firms said their integration will expand service coverage for clients across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC by enabling new Cloud Centers of Excellence and solution offerings “across all major geographies.”

Chris Danelz, GM of Global Channel Partner Solutions at Microsoft, said “the combination of these two great companies represents a huge win for Microsoft and customers everywhere as we embark on our mission to empower every person and every organization to achieve more.”

Henson Group was founded in 2002

Henson Group got its start in 2002 after Founder and Chairman Greg Henson, then a Microsoft employee in New York, volunteered to help businesses rebuild in the wake of 9/11. He eventually left Microsoft to focus on Henson Group full time, growing his company from one man in a New York apartment to a team of over 200 working out of Henson Group’s Dallas headquarters and additional offices in New York, Los Angeles, Montreal, Vancouver, Mexico City, and London.
