Dallas’ Scout Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

Moisha Platto succeeds Paige Bingham, who transitions to executive chairman of the board of Scout, which provides services and technology for the biopharmaceutical industry.

Scout, a Dallas-based firm specializing in services and technology for pharmaceutical and biotech companies, has appointed Moisha Platto as chief executive officer, succeeding Paige Bingham. Bingham transitions to executive chairman of the board, continuing the legacy initiated by her mother, company founder Patricia “Pat” Bingham.

“Moisha’s strategic vision and dedication to fostering high-performing teams make him the ideal leader to continue Scout’s mission of delivering exceptional client services,” Paige Bingham said in a statement. “Our family’s legacy thrives with his guidance.”

Platto came to Scout in 2021 as a strategic adviser and assumed the role of COO in 2023. His experience includes serving as CEO and co-founder of Omniphase, where he developed operational and financial solutions for life sciences organizations, and as chief commercial officer at PRA Health Sciences, leading commercial affairs and corporate development.

Scout, formerly called Meeting Protocol Worldwide, launched a complete rebranding that included changing its name in January. Platto played a key role in supporting the rebranding and optimizing operations, the company said, adding that his initiatives have enhanced its ability to serve core users, promoting financial discipline and modernization.

Brett Bingham and Brian Bingham remain integral to Scout’s leadership as board member and vice president for contracts and sourcing, respectively, underscoring the family’s ongoing commitment to Scout, the company said.

“It’s incredibly rewarding to witness the enduring legacy of our family-owned business,” founder Pat Bingham said in a statement. “Scout will continue to innovate and serve with the utmost care.”

Scout empowers the life sciences industry with people-first solutions: Scout Meetings, Scout Clinical, and Scout Academy. It specializes in face-to-face, virtual, and hybrid clinical meeting planning, patient payment, travel and logistics support, and virtual collaboration and education.
