Plano-based Pharmaceutical Strategies Group has added two new members to its leadership team, aimed at empowering healthcare payers and driving innovation within the pharmacy benefits industry.
PSG, an EPIC company, has added Mike Sackett as SVP of financial analytics, procurement, and consulting strategy and announced the promotion of Rebekah Gregg to chief operating officer.
“The addition of Mike Sackett to our team and the promotion of Rebekah Gregg mark strategic organizational changes that underscore our commitment to growth and our dedication to providing market-leading solutions,” PSG President Michael Lonergan said in a statement. “With these leadership enhancements, we are better positioned than ever to help our clients navigate the complexities of the pharmacy supply chain, driving both innovation and success.”
Financial analytics
Sackett has nearly a quarter century of experience in pharmacy benefit-related financial analytics, and his career spans various leadership roles across several of the industry’s top organizations.
The latest addition to the PSG team, Sackett will lead the financial analytics, procurement, and audit functions, working closely with the senior leadership team to drive innovation, development, and execution of PSG’s financial insight products and services, the company said, with the aim of enhancing strategic decision-making for healthcare payers and ensuring their pharmacy benefit programs align with their primary goals.
“It’s an exciting time in the pharmacy benefits landscape, and I am thrilled to contribute my expertise in pharmacy-related strategy to further enhance our capabilities and drive transformative solutions for our clients,” Sackett said in a statement. “PSG has been a leader in the pharmacy benefits industry, and I look forward to being a part of its continued success.”
Positioning PSG as an industry leader
Gregg’s time at PSG has been marked by significant growth in the scope of her responsibilities, making this promotion a reflection of her current leadership, the company said. As COO, Gregg will oversee PSG’s marketing, research, data analytics, clinical shared services, and product strategy, including Artemetrx, further solidifying PSG’s position as an industry leader.
“I’m truly honored to step into the role of COO of PSG,” Gregg said. “Our organization has a rich legacy of innovation and excellence, and I’m excited to help continue that work and contribute to our team’s efforts in empowering our clients and shaping the future of pharmacy benefits management.”
