Omni Hotels & Resorts, a Dallas-based company, has appointed Trip Riggs as its new chief financial officer. According to the company, Riggs will oversee Omni’s finance and accounting functions.
Reporting to President Kurt Alexander, Riggs will play a pivotal role in driving performance and growth within the executive leadership team, the Omni said.
President Kurt Alexander praised Riggs’ “demonstrated track record of leading high-performing teams” and expressed excitement about having him on board.
“We believe his expertise will allow Omni to further strengthen our unique owner-operator-brand position in the industry,” Alexander said in a statement.
Riggs joins Omni Hotels & Resorts after serving as co-president and CFO at Balfour Senior Living in Louisville, Colorado.
Prior to joining Omni Hotels & Resorts, Riggs served as co-president and CFO at Balfour Senior Living in Louisville, Colorado, where he led enterprise-wide financial performance and the new development pipeline.
His experience also includes prior roles as divisional CFO for both hospitality and real estate at Vail Resorts and in development and portfolio management at Stonebridge Companies.
Omni Hotels & Resorts noted that Riggs’ appointment comes at a vital time, as part of its ongoing commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences across the company’s portfolio of over 50 distinct hotels and resorts throughout North America.
The company added that Riggs, along with other key members of the executive team, will help shape Omni’s future growth strategy and be instrumental in driving its implementation.
