“It’s hospitable. It’s the infrastructure, it’s the education, it’s the taxes. They want business, they support it.”

The “Chase for Business Make Your Move Summit” at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort had its share of seat-filling speakers Wednesday through Friday, including Matthew McConaughey, Mark Cuban, Emmitt Smith, and Sheryl Swoopes.
But Jamie Dimon spoke with a rock star status of his own—and a national profile so exalted, he recently had to deny he’s running for president in 2024.
While he was at the Frisco summit for small business leaders, Dimon praised Texas’s business-friendly climate as an example for the rest of the country.
“It’s conducive to helping everybody,” Dimon said, according to the Dallas Morning News’ Marin Wolf. “That’s how you build a healthy, vibrant society. And so we’re urging them here not to become like Washington, D.C., which does almost everything it can to slow down the growth of companies.”
