Yadot Group Appoints Retail Veteran as Acting Chairman of the Board
Yadot Group founder Kyle Borgman, will be stepping down as the acting chairman to prioritize a new role as the global chief executive officer to focus efforts on domestic and international emerging market expansion efforts. On Oct. 1, Josh Burris will step in as acting chairman of the board with extensive experience leading major retail brands, including GNC, Rue21, Wilsons Leather, G.H. Bass, Karl Lagerfeld, Calvin Klein Performance, DKNY, and Abercrombie & Fitch.

Retail veteran Josh Burris has been appointed acting chairman of the board of The Yadot Group, a Dallas-based global advertising services company.
Burris has more than 25 years of experience leading high-growth organizations. His appointment is effective Oct. 1. Yadot Group founder Kyle Borgman will step down as acting chairman to prioritize a new role as the global chief executive officer and focus on domestic and international emerging market expansion, the company said.
“I’m delighted to welcome Josh Burris as the chairman of our board. My priority is to make the best decisions on behalf of all our stakeholders, considering his stature and experience as an effective executive over the past decades, Josh is an obvious fit for this role,” Borgman said in a statement. “His abilities are tremendously relevant to our M&A focused growth strategy as well as many of our international initiatives already underway.”
Most recently, Burris served as CEO of Rue21, CEO and president of GNC from 2019 through 2023, successfully navigating through the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic. Before GNC, he was the president of AM Retail Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of G-III Apparel Group that operated retail stores under brands such as Wilsons Leather, G.H. Bass, Karl Lagerfeld, Calvin Klein Performance, and DKNY.
Burris has extensive international experience helping Abercrombie & Fitch oversee flagship store openings across London, Milan, Paris, and Tokyo, to name a few.
