Veteran executive Bill Maloney has been appointed Texas market lead and Dallas office managing partner for CrossCountry Consulting, a business advisory firm based in McLean, Virginia.
Maloney will oversee strategy and operations across the Texas market, the firm said, with a focus on supporting CFO organizations, expanding client and partner relationships, and driving sustainable growth in the region.
“Bill is an outstanding addition to CrossCountry Consulting,” said Erik Linn, co-founder and managing partner, in a statement. “His wealth of experience and proven leadership align perfectly with our commitment to excellence.”
Linn said Maloney’s collaborative approach and people-first leadership style also reflect the firm’s culture. “As we continue to expand in Texas, Bill’s expertise and strategic vision will be pivotal in delivering exceptional service to our clients,” he said.
Maloney brings more than 25 years of experience in financial, operational, and strategic leadership roles. His background includes expertise in U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and growth strategy, the firm said.
Before joining CrossCountry, Maloney held senior roles at Riveron, including national practice leader of financial advisory services and COO of advisory services. He previously served as vice president of reporting and technical accounting at Orthofix International and spent nearly 13 years at PwC, where he worked in audit, transaction services, and global accounting consulting.
“I’m excited to join CrossCountry and contribute to the firm’s growth in the Texas market,” Maloney said. “There’s real potential to make a positive impact here.”
CrossCountry opened its Dallas office early last year in response to rising demand across the Southwest. The firm said it has been steadily expanding in Texas, adding clients and team members across the Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and Austin-San Antonio markets.
