The Last Word: Future One Rangers Way Resident on Why He Wants to Live Near AT&T Stadium

“I want the madness of the World Cup. I want to be down there every day.”

Aziz Kobty
Chef and Co-Owner
Arlington’s Prince Lebanese Grill
.…on one reason why he plans to live at the One Rangers Way apartments in the Arlington Entertainment District, via the Dallas Morning News.

Most people who look out their window are lucky to see a tree. But residents who move into the upcoming One Rangers Way—a $100M, 300-unit luxury apartment project from the Texas Rangers and the Cordish Companies—will get a sports-related eyeful in multiple directions. The project is located several field-goal kicks from AT&T Stadium and across from Choctaw Stadium and nearby Globe Life Field, and close to the looming hubub coming with the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Kobty told the Dallas Morning News’ Irving Mejia-Hilario he’s a Cowboys season ticket holder who catches around 50 Rangers games a year, in addition to his passion for the World Cup and the nine matches it will bring to AT&T Stadium in 2026.

Cordish has picked up on the desires of fans like Kobty, and has another such project, One Cardinals Way, in St. Louis. For more on the trend in fusing residential developments with leading sports venues, read the DMN story here.
