The health-care landscape is evolving constantly, and Arlington-based Texas Health Resources has started a podcast to examine what’s happening in the industry.
Called Texas Health Out Loud, the podcast examines the trends in the business of health care as well as new technologies that are causing change.
“Texas Health Out Loud offers a little bit of everything,” Paul Szablowski, senior vice president of brand experience at Texas Health, said in a news release. “Health care is changing every day and we need open lines of communication now more than ever. We want to be a resource for all North Texans to improve their health and well-being.”

The podcast features industry professionals, hospital leaders, and experts talking about a variety of health-care topics, Texas Health Resources said in the release.
Texas Health Resources is one of the nation’s largest faith-based, nonprofit health systems.
Topics discussed in the podcast’s episodes cover a variety of subjects from examining new practices in neonatal care to the “upstream movement,” a growing trend in which health-care systems look for ways to partner with other organizations such as housing authorities to address the root cause of many medical problems.
“At Texas Health we’re trying to bring new topics and insights to people where they are so it enriches their health and well-being — we think that’s so important in today’s world,” Winjie Tang Miao, executive vice president and chief experience officer at Texas Health, said in the release.
Former television news reporter and anchor Susy Solis and Aleshia Howe, a former newspaper reporter and editor and current member of the Texas Health Trends & Media team are the the hosts for the Texas Health Out Loud podcasts.
