Marvin Harris Jr., an engineering senior manager at Qorvo, has been elected chair of the Tech Titans board of directors, which has also added 16 new board members.
“Marvin Harris is the ideal person to chair the Tech Titans board,” said Paul Bendel, executive director of Tech Titans. “He has more than 25 years of professional experience and has provided tremendous guidance as vice chair of our STEM program. We’re also grateful to our new and returning board members who are committed to providing guidance to Tech Titans as we work to grow and bring value to our members.”
Tech Titans said that during Harris’s career, he was a foundry engineer for TriQuint Semiconductor for 17 years until it merged with Qorvo where he has served for nearly nine years. Harris served as vice chair of the Tech Titans STEM program largely because, as a young student, it was a STEM program that influenced him to pursue an engineering career.
