TeamSupport, a provider of customer support software, has appointed Grant Stanis as its new Chief Executive Officer while simultaneously unveiling AI Assist, a new conversational AI tool for support tickets. Stanis, who spent a decade in mergers and acquisitions at global consulting firm PwC, will lead the company as it integrates advanced AI capabilities into its platform.
The AI Assist suite, launched this month, enables support agents to leverage artificial intelligence in handling customer tickets. The tool can enhance responses by improving grammar, adjusting tone based on context, summarizing ticket history, and providing specific resolution recommendations.
Jonathan Lapinsky, TeamSupport’s VP of Engineering and Product, highlighted the company’s commitment to improving the agent experience. “Our mission has always been and always will be to improve our agents’ experience and efficiency in support of their customers,” Lapinsky said in a statement. “Strategically implementing AI into their workflow is an accelerator in that pursuit.”
As CEO, Stanis will focus on guiding TeamSupport along a path of continuous innovation, with a particular emphasis on AI enhancements.
“I’m excited to join TeamSupport at this pivotal moment,” Stanis said in a statement. “With the launch of AI Assist, we’re driving even better value for our customers by investing in innovative technologies like conversational AI and automated workflows.”
Stanis, whose background includes a decade in mergers and acquisitions at global consulting firm PwC, previously led teams at SaaS companies Enmark Systems, Inc. and FPX.
Charles Chen, TeamSupport board member and partner at Level Equity, said the company is “thrilled to have Grant join the team.” He added: “TeamSupport is a growing software company that works with many other growing software companies. Grant comes with a wealth of experience in that sector, so it’s a perfect match.”
