Tarrant County College’ HVAC Program Nets Nigh Ranking by SkillCat App

Tuition for TCC’s HVAC program begins at $814. The graduation rate is 23 percent and the employment rate 87 percent. TCC said that post-graduation average salaries start at $42,727.

Tarrant County College’s HVAC program recently was ranked No. 13 among the Top 20 programs in Texas by SkillCat, an application for trade certifications, the college said.

“We’re honored that our HVAC program was recognized as one of the best in Texas!” Instructor T.J. Felgar said in a statement. “This achievement reflects the dedication of our instructors, the hard work of our students, and the support of our community and industry partners.”

Rankings were based on cost, curriculum, post-graduation statistics, and average post-graduation salary, the college said.

Tarrant County College, one of the nation’s largest higher education institutions, has the second lowest tuition of Texas’ Top 10 community colleges.
