From a COVID Breathalyzer Test to Chemical Weapons Detection, UNT Professor Develops Sensors that Sniff Out Diseases and Dangerous Substances

Verbeck and his team at UNT have developed sensors that detect chemical weapons, COVID on people's breath, and chemicals in smoke that help firefighters know how to respond. The chemical sensors he creates could prove to be game changers in diagnosing diseases.
