North Texas Food Bank Awards $1.3 Million in 2025 Grants to Partners Across Region

TI's award is in support of the food bank's new five-year strategic initiative, Fulfilling Futures, which aims to close "critical meal gaps" among other key goals. The foundation has awarded over $6 million to the food bank since 2018.

The North Texas Food Bank is joining with Feeding America and other member food banks to help mark Hunger Action Month all through September. Their goal: To inspire people to join the fight to end hunger and raise awareness of people experiencing food insecurity across the U.S. Food banks nationwide are working to make "a real and lasting impact on hunger in their communities," and they're asking for the public’s support.

Starbucks provided an initial $100,000 investment in support of the food bank’s efforts in 2021. The North Texas Food Bank is a member of the Feeding America network and is one of 16 food banks to receive this second grant from Starbucks.
