Truist’s Renda Mathew is board chair-elect for the Dallas nonprofit. The foundation, which invests nearly $5 million a year in grants, research and leadership programs, also added executives from TI, Hunt Oil and WBR Partners to its board.

New data from the TXWF shows that the annual impact of the wage gap has grown 27% since 2019 to $60.1 billion annually in lost earnings and economic activity. "To sustain the level of economic success we enjoy here in Texas, the time is now to invest in women and that starts with closing the wage gap," said CEO Karen Hughes White.

The new tenants include Engage Dallas, Housing Forward, PCCI, Teach for America, Texas Women’s Foundation, and The 2.0 Collaborative. The additions bring Water Cooler at Pegasus Park to a full capacity with a total of 32 tenants, ranking it among the largest nonprofit shared space communities in the country.

Dallas Finance Exec Named President of Swiss-Based ORCA AG

Charmaine Tang, who most recently was a senior client strategist at BNY Mellon, is the first "boots on the ground" in the U.S. for Zurich-based ORCA AG. Founded in 2017, the Swiss software and services firm offers an SaaS platform with solutions from wealth structuring to tax, compliance, succession planning, and more.
"My #1 focus is on growing the U.S. market," Tang told Dallas Innovates, noting that ORCA views North Texas "as a super high-growth metro market" for her company's software and services.

At the 37th annual Texas Women’s Foundation luncheon, Olympic track and field legend Allyson Felix was a key voice, showing that speed is of the essence when it comes to advancing opportunities for girls and women. With a theme of "Transforming Texas," the event also featured Dallas Mavericks President and CEO Cynt Marshall, the award-winning Garland High School step team, and a live-streaming room next door where 200 local students took it all in.
