Tarrant County Homeless Coalition Gets $2.5M Bezos Day 1 Families Fund Grant

The Homeless Coalition said it plans to use the grant to enhance services available to families experiencing homelessness with increased efforts to end homelessness quickly through diversion, housing location, and additional supports to help families return to self-sufficiency.

Bank of America announced that it has invested nearly $900,000 to support nonprofits in North Texas that focus on community needs such as affordable housing, community revitalization, small business, and the arts.
The funds should help nonprofits already beleaguered by the COVID-19 pandemic to overcome the effects of inflation.
“Dallas nonprofits dedicate their time and energy to solve the complex societal challenges, build up our neighbors in need, and promote economic advancement,” Jennifer Chandler, Bank of America Dallas president, said in a statement....
