UTA Researcher Wins DoD Grant for Cutting-Edge Metal Manufacturing Machines, Paving the Way for Tools on Ships at Sea—and on Mars

Emma Yang, an industrial engineering expert, will use the funds to purchase 3-D hybrid manufacturing equipment that can print metals and alloys. UT Arlington calls the equipment critical to the education of the next generation of scientists and engineers.
