The North Texas Innovation Alliance has begun offering quarterly "hands-on innovation experiences" at "the brightest and most innovative projects across North Texas" for NTXIA members. The Immersive Innovation field trips kicked off with a tour of the NSF's newly opened eCAT Center at UNT. Here's where the NTXIA is going next.

Toronto-based Celestica produces "groundbreaking, state-of-the-art equipment" based on artificial intelligence learning systems for its U.S.-based customers. Its newly announced expansion is being fueled by an economic redevelopment agreement with the city of Richardson.

Described as "an innovative company with a global reach," Austin Circuit Design was founded in Austin in 1985 and moved to Garland following a 2015 acquisition. The advanced design and manufacturing firm specializes in mechanical, industrial, hardware, and software design. COO Mark Cottam says the new IQ location will help ACD continue to "drive strong company growth" and "focus on innovation."

Global Tech Company Announces New Innovation, Design Hub in Richardson Innovation Quarter

New Hampshire-based Allegro MicroSystems said Richardson's new innovation and design center will serve as a hub for Allegro's sensor and power integrated circuit R&D efforts.
"We're excited to be contributing to the growth of the community and ecosystem for innovation while tapping into local talent," says Allegro SVP Suman Narayan.

Nexperia, a Netherlands-based semiconductor manufacturer, is opening a new design center in Richardson—its first R&D operation in North America—with plans to rapidly grow its local workforce. The new DFW operations will add to the other five R&D facilities Nexperia operates in Europe, China, and Malaysia.
