Germany-based Cognity's AI agents connect brands like Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Nestlé, and DHL with customers worldwide. Now the company has departed the city by the bay to place its U.S. HQ in the Dallas suburb of Plano, lauding the region's "perfect mix of innovation, energy, and opportunity."

Roofer.com relocated its HQ from San Francisco to Arlington after acquiring Arlington-based Bearded Brothers Roofing & Restoration in 2022. The startup uses "advanced AI algorithms and drone technology" to conduct roof scans, capturing high-res photographs, which are then analyzed using computer vision. Now the company plans "aggressive growth" with a goal of being "the next Airbnb"—of roofing.
