Spark Arlington Coworking Space Opens Inside Choctaw Stadium
The Cordish Companies and Texas Rangers have announced the opening of Spark Arlington, a two-level, 30,000-square-foot collaborative workspace located inside Choctaw Stadium, the Rangers' former ballpark. Over 20 companies have already become members, including Lone Star Drones, the XFL, WFAA, ANKR Agency, BGD Digital Marketing, Scudder Storycraft, and the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation.

Texas Rangers, Cordish Companies Break Ground on One Rangers Way Luxury Apartment Community

The 300-unit One Rangers Way will be "one of the most luxurious, resort-style apartment communities in the country" when it opens in 2024, the city of Arlington says. Just a short walk from Choctaw Stadium, Globe Life Field, and AT&T Stadium, it will provide the "missing piece" at the heart of the Arlington Entertainment District, said Rangers EVP Rob Matwick. "One of the things that was very important to our company, to the Rangers, to the city, was that we create a 365 community and a heartbeat for the city," Blake Cordish, principal at The Cordish Companies, said at the groundbreaking. “To do that, you need great residential."

First Look: Coworking With Stadium Views at Spark Arlington

Entrepreneurs who park their laptops in Spark Arlington this winter will get more than the usual coworking amenities. They'll also get two-level views of Choctaw Stadium's playing field, as well as views of the Texas Rangers' new home right next door.

The 30,000-square-foot coworking facility is part of nearly $1 billion in new development in the Arlington Entertainment District.
