Hesam Hosseini has been promoted to chief operating officer of Dallas-based Match Group, effective April 1. Gary Swidler will step down as president on that date and continue as an adviser to the company until July 4. The moves come one month after former Zillow co-founder and CEO Spencer Rascoff was appointed CEO of Match Group.

Match Group CEO Shar Dubey is leaving her post May 31, but will stay on with the company as a board director and advisor. The move will allow more time for what she calls "the give back" chapter of her life.
