Headquartered at 5050 Quorum Drive in Dallas, RealFoundations has more than 500 employees supporting 500 companies in the U.S., Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Founder and CEO Chris Shaida said joining Newmark—a global leader in commercial real estate services—is "a natural next step for our firm."

Cousins Properties acquired the Class AA Uptown Dallas tower in a deal brokered by Newmark. The transaction for The Link at Uptown is a new high sales price in Dallas-Fort Worth this year, Newmark said. Last week, JLL announced it has been engaged to handle leasing for the property that "sits between Uptown’s core and emerging financial districts.”

Dallas-based institutional capital markets expert Jack Fraker has joined Newmark Group Inc., a full-service commercial real estate firm, as president and global head of industrial and logistics.
Newmark has offices in Dallas and Plano.

Dallas-based Open Realty—a retail-focused real estate investment firm that's helped companies like Apple, Warby Parker, and Bonobos bring brick-and-mortar stores to North Texas—has been acquired by New York-based Newmark Group.
Open Realty will now join Newmark's retail services business, joining the public company's global team of more than 6,300 worldwide.
