SMU Cox Spears Institute Appoints Former Shondaland Leader to Global Ambassador Role

Megha Tolia's new role is designed to expand the institute’s international reach and amplify its mission to empower the next generation of entrepreneurial leaders. She'll continue in her role as a co-founding director of the Spears Institute alongside her husband, Nirav Tolia, founder and former CEO of Nextdoor.

Nextdoor also added three new board members, including former Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, to its board of directors. The appointments are part of a broader leadership transformation at Nextdoor, following the announcement that co-founder Tolia would return as CEO, replacing Sarah Friar.
