Spatial Laser is joining the more than 20 tech companies that have expanded in or relocated to McKinney. The proptech startup uses a cloud solution to assist bulk buyers in quickly identifying real estate properties that have high rental returns with low risk.
Xcelerate is a sustainable transportation company that offers funding support and ancillary products to EV manufacturers like Tesla. With the move, the team hopes to "put McKinney on the EV map."
The young startup, which makes scalable artificial intelligence solutions, is using a grant from the McKinney Economic Development Corporation’s Innovation Fund to establish a headquarters in McKinney and drastically add to its team.
With the funding, Falkon also wants to build out its new transportation and logistics startup, Load Right, which aims to use technology to assist warehouses in managing and tracking single and multi-stop loads.
“We’re building an ecosystem and creating a space for startups to access funding, and helping them scale at the timeliest need for their company during the startup lifecycle,” Senior Vice President at McKinney EDC Danny Chavez said.
CourMed, which has HIPAA-certified drivers and training, plans to expand its services to major cities in all 50 states this year. The startup says "it can be up and running in any market in seven days."
