LiquidStack said the investment from NYC-based investment firm Tiger Global will help expand its manufacturing footprint, scale its direct-to-chip and immersion cooling product family roadmaps, and broaden its commercial and R&D operations.

Built for advanced computing applications such as generative AI, large language models, and HPC, the new CDU from Carrollton-based LiquidStack addresses a critical market need by helping alleviate supply constraints in the direct-to-chip liquid cooling segment, the company said.

Liquid cooling for data centers has seen a big spike in demand due to the (literally) hot new revolution of Generative AI. Having moved its global HQ from the Boston area to Carrollton, north of Dallas, LiquidStack aims to meet that demand with a full range of liquid cooling solutions manufactured on site. It's now "aggressively hiring."
