Irving-based Caterpillar said the agreement focuses on accelerating the deployment of Caterpillar's 70- to 100-ton-class battery electric off-highway trucks and charging solutions at a CRH site in North America.
Caterpillar said that Kaiser—a 23-year company veteran—will have responsibility for the Rail Division, Solar Turbines, Large Power Systems Division, Industrial Power Systems Division, Electric Power Division, Caterpillar Oil & Gas and Marine Division, Cat Reman (remanufactured parts), and the Electrification and Energy Solutions Division.
