IKEA To Open Dallas ‘City’ Store Just East of NorthPark

IKEA said the two-level, 63,000-square-foot small-format store will be located at The Shops at Park Lane in Dallas. The store will offer a new way of reaching customers both in-store and digitally, with 3,200 items available for takeaway, including food.

If you've walked through one of IKEA's two North Texas stores in Frisco or Grand Prairie, you know it's not just a stroll—it's a seemingly endless trek through maze-like aisles of Swedish-designed home goods, furniture, kitchen and bath displays, and more. Which makes the idea of a "small-format" IKEA store sound like the opposite of jumbo shrimp. But the new store coming to Southlake is one you might actually not get lost in.
