Think your lawn's big? DFW Airport has a whole 14,000 acres of grass to trim. McKinney-based Robin Autopilot and L.A.'s Graze launched an initiative in June to snip some of that acreage with robotic mowing and landscaping technology. No pushing required.
Robin Autopilot USA acquired Durham, N.C.-based Mowbot in April, aiming for a bigger cut of the $105B landscaping services market. The two companies are consolidating in a new HQ in McKinney, with help from an MEDC Innovation Fund grant.
