CodeLaunch World Champions Spotlight Biomaterials at Gilley’s Dallas Event

Materia Bioworks, a Toronto-based biomaterials startup, raised the 2024 CodeLaunch World Championship belt Wednesday and took home $25K in allocated capital. Houston-based Endora—whose app turns personal memories into interactive games—snagged $25K by winning the judges and investors awards.

The event is the culmination of four previous CodeLaunch competitions held earlier this year across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Winners from the previous competitions will pitch and compete for $50,000 in funding in front of a live audience, judges, and angel investors—amid a "venturetainment" blend of live music, comedy, panels, and networking.
